Right from the times  of Lasie and Rin TIn Tin dog movies have always been endearing, interesting and immensely popular.  The great Benji and the enormous Beethoven stole your hearts and created a splash at the box office.

Now here is a movie to beat all dog movies….it has beaten the much awaited Russell Crowe and Leonardo DiCaprio starrer “Body of Lies”.

The movie, “Beverly Hills Chihuahua” is about a much cossetted Chihuahua dog that suddenly has to give up her luxurious life and learn the ropes in a Mexican Desert.  The movie has been on the top position of the US  Box Office for the second week now.

The movie was first screened on an “invitation only” premise for 300 Chihuahuas and the people they belonged to!  Soon, ticket sales spiralled up and the movie continues to enthrall movie goers rushing in hordes to watch the Chihuahuas.

The movie that seems to be just the thing the people needed to take their mind of everyday hassles, is an entertaining and heart warming tale of one of the tiniest and most adorable of dogs.
