When a Surf Company presents a surf board to a dog, that dog must be really special. Yes Harvey, the three year old Labrador is special indeed!
He can surf like a pro. After watching his master Scott Pearson and his son James surf at the Tynemouth Beach day after day, week after week, Harvey probably decided that surfing was no big deal. After all, he could swim ever since he was a little puppy! When James placed him on a surfboard one day, he joyfully glided back to shore! Shaking legs, nervousness and fear of water seemed to be alien to him!
I am sure you have heard of other dogs surf before. But then, these dogs have always been small breed animals. For a purebred Labrador, that has grown to his full size, surfing is quite an extraordinary test of skill and balancing. And Harvey seems to have passed it with flying colors. So whenever you get a chance to visit Tynmouth Beach, keep a lookout for this special dog!
He impressed everone around so much, that he always has a host of spectators cheering him. It is no wonder then that the Tynemouth Surf Company presented his very own surf board. Harvey clutches his board in his mouth to take it to the water, drops it in and then embarks on his adventure gracefully.
Machu Picchu is an ancient Incan citadel of Peru that attracts tourists all year round. It is also the name proposed for the puppy that Peruvian dog lovers want to gift the new President of the US.
As the elder daughter of the President, 10-year old Malia, is allergic to dogs, a compleetely hairless dog (Peruvian Hairless Dog)has been offered as a gift. This dog's original ancestor can be traced back to 3000 years!
This breed was favored by the Incan rulers. It has an elegant bearing, is intelligent, friendly and almost ideal for people who are allergic to dogs.
